On Monday, Smith & Downey announced an upcoming webinar focusing on workplace accommodations and other COVID-19 related issues. Since that announcement, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released its emergency temporary standard for employers with more than 100 employees, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its own emergency regulation requiring vaccination-eligible staff of Medicare and Medicaid certified providers and suppliers to be vaccinated, which expands the scope of the previously released OSHA regulations governing healthcare employers. Although not included in our Monday announcement, both topics (and any subsequent developments) will be included in our November 18th webinar.
