Mike Connors’ practice deals with all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation law. Mike has particular expertise in the area of executive compensation and other deferred compensation strategies for both taxable and tax-exempt employers, in the area of advising employee benefit plan service providers (primarily investment advisors) regarding ERISA’s fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules, and in the areas of tax-qualified retirement plans, 403(b) tax-sheltered annuity plans, insurance product-based arrangements, flexible benefits plans, and other employee welfare benefit plans.
Mike has considerable experience in structuring executive compensation and employee benefit strategies in the tax-exempt health care, educational, social service, and credit union environments. He also has significant expertise in the development of employment benefit and executive compensation plans in church and church related employer settings.
